HCMS is a Microsoft Windows-based software application that helps you manage diverse payment options, including Prospective Payment System (PPS) reimbursement. It is a comprehensive billing and financial management solution that allows you to manage your business with a focus on improving services, operations, and reimbursement. Your corporate structure defines the system hierarchy and controls access to information based on organizational needs. Regardless of the complexity of your corporation, this patient-focused database easily handles multiple business entities, branches, programs, services, and contracts. Based on accepted accounting practices, the software provides you with the tools for good financial management.

Converting Data into Powerful Information

The software generates standard and custom reports with a report writer, so you can monitor and evaluate clinical, financial, scheduling, and personnel resource utilization. Reports are also viewable on screen with the print option.

Standard reports allow you to sort or select data by such data elements as company, branch, program, and time frames for clinical, patient, financial, PPS, hospice, statistics, team, scheduling, lists, payer/contract, export, and personnel reports. With the report writer, you can also create report formats and store them in a report library, so you can easily select and run reports to view data that is essential to you.


Seamless Integration

The Progresa Home Care Management System, a single fully integrated database, works with the 3M Codefinder Software, ICD-9 coding, and reference options for accurate identification of primary and secondary diagnoses.

The MediSpan drug formulary, drug interactions, and teaching tools are embedded in the system in English, Spanish, and French.

HCMS also offers such diverse interface options as HL7, tele-systems, payroll, general ledger, cost reporting, and other vendor systems.
