Progresa Partners with Ridgeview Medical Center
to Deliver Compassionate Care
Press Release
Enhanced hospice solution supports unique inpatient documentation requirements Murray, UT, 28/9/2010 Ridgeview Medical Center, an independent, nonprofit, regional health care network located just 35 minutes west of Minneapolis, Minnesota, recently implemented Progresa Health Systems for its new residential hospice, the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home located in Chaska, MN. Ridgeview is the first Progresa customer to use the system for a hospice residence, providing comprehensive patient management for the hospice team. Ridgeview's Hospice Home is Medicare certified to provide general inpatient care. Dedicated to providing compassionate care for patients and their families at the end of life, Ridgeview relies on Progresa to facilitate the process of documentation for the caregivers so they can focus more time on improving their patients quality of life. Today, our clinicians find that access to clear, accurate patient data care plans, demographics and medications as well as decision support tools, help improve patient safety. Ridgeview Hospice and our Hospice Home have especially valued the new Interdisciplinary Group Note documentation feature. Designed to support the shift-based requirements of a Hospice Home, Progresa provides a multi-disciplinary approach to documentation and the coordination of care. In the last year, Progresa has asked its Hospice clients to become active contributors in the development of the hospice solution. The result of this consultative approach has been the release of:
